CryoPen
CryoPen uses advanced freezing innovation that is fast, effective and safe for removal of benign skin lesions on the face and body. Treatment a Skinn Kind is only available from age 16+.
CryoPen treatment uses a state-of-the-art device that employs extreme cold (cryotherapy) to precisely target and remove unwanted skin lesions, such as warts, skin tags, and age spots.
CryoPen delivers a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure, which freezes and destroys the targeted tissue. The rapid freezing causes the unwanted cells to die, and over time, the body naturally eliminates the treated area.
CryoPen is effective for a variety of skin conditions, including:
– Skin tags
– Age spots
– Sun spots
– Small benign growths
Yes, CryoPen treatment is safe when performed by a trained professional. It precisely targets the lesion without damaging the surrounding healthy tissue.
During the treatment, you may feel a sensation similar to a stinging or cold spray. The duration of treatment depends on the size and type of lesion but typically lasts from a few seconds to a couple of minutes.
Most patients experience minimal discomfort during the treatment. The sensation is often described as a slight stinging or burning, which quickly subsides after the treatment.
The number of treatments required depends on the size, depth, and type of lesion. Some lesions may be removed in a single session, while others may require multiple treatments.
Recovery time is generally quick. The treated area may become red and swollen immediately after treatment, and a scab or blister may form. This is part of the natural healing process and should resolve within a few days to a couple of weeks.
Side effects are minimal and may include redness, swelling, and blistering at the treatment site. In rare cases, there may be slight scarring or changes in skin pigmentation.
After treatment, keep the area clean and dry. Avoid picking at the scab or blister to prevent infection and scarring. Protect the area from sun exposure by using sunscreen or covering it with clothing.
CryoPen treatment is suitable for most people, but it is not recommended for individuals with certain conditions, such as those with cold intolerance, Raynaud’s disease, or those who are pregnant. A consultation with our specialist will determine if CryoPen is right for you.
